Ministry of Caring for Congregations

Membership:

Six persons elected by the Association, second vice moderator.

Responsibilities and Possibilities:

- Become acquainted with and encourage the use of U.C.C. resources; develop a resource center in cooperation with the Conference AV library, and catalog resources available for sharing by churches of the Association.

- Respond to requests from churches for help with Christian education, church planning, conflict resolution, evangelism, mission, pastor-parish relations, stewardship, worship, and youth and young adult ministries.

- Develop and coordinate a consultants program in these and other areas, meeting with (and focusing on the work of) each consultant at least once a year.

- Cooperate with the Conference in offering and encouraging participation in lay leadership training and spiritual nurture.
