Ministries

The five Ministries of the Fox Valley Association are designed to serve the needs of our congregations, communities, wider church, and world.          

 Design for Ministry Description

An Association Council, divided into five ministries, will envision, plan and develop policies, and facilitate programming for the Association. It will meet at least once between regular meetings of the Association. The five ministries, designated below, will each meet at least quarterly. They may form subcommittees and task forces and appoint additional persons to serve on them.  The five ministries are:

Ministry of Caring for Congregations

The Ministry of Caring for Congregations has taken on a prayer ministry and is praying for each congregation in the Association.

Ministry of Caring for Ministers

 The Ministry of Caring for Ministers works with In-Care students and Authorized ministers in the Association.

Ministry of Caring for the Wider Church

The Ministry of Caring for the Wider Church is connecting the Associaiton to other organizations and ministries in our denomination and other denominations.

Ministry of Caring for the World

 The Ministry of Caring for the World is focusing particularly on resolutions to the Illinois Conference and General Synod.
