Jonathan began his ministry with the Association on February 27, 2006 after serving churches in Palatine and Hinsdale, Illinois as Associate Pastor in Christian Education and Youth, then in Kansas and eastern Ohio as Pastor/Senior Pastor. His last position was as an Associate Conference Minister with the Pennsylvania Southeast Conference UCC.
As Associate Conference Minister serving Fox Valley, Jonathan is pastor to the pastors and congregations in the Association providing support, counsel and resources in Ministry Issues including In-Care Students, to Interims, the Search and Call Process, through retirement including Pastor Emeritus Status, congregational revitalization, lay leadership training, stewardship and development.
He is a graduate of Earlham College in Richmond, Indiana and Eden Theological Seminary in Webster Groves, Missouri – 2 blocks from the house he grew up in! His wife, Dianne, is a Special Education Teacher and they have three grown children: Joshua, Kyle and Elizabeth.
